ABOUT THE WINERY

Cambria Estate Winery’s story began in 1971 with the planting of Tepusquet Vineyard, one of the first vineyards in the Santa Maria Valley. Established by Barbara Banke and Jess Jackson in 1986, Cambria has grown into a celebrated producer of cool-climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, shaped by the region’s distinctive coastal conditions.

Today, Cambria continues to build on that legacy through sustainable farming, thoughtful winemaking, and a deep connection to the land. Led by Head Winemaker Jill Russell, recognized by Wine Spectator as one of 10 outstanding Chardonnay winemakers in 2024, the winery remains dedicated to crafting wines that express the character of the Santa Maria Valley.
